Pymore FC 4 - 0 Beaminster
Pymore gained a three boints in this local derby as they put a massive dent in Beaminster`s title hopes. Pymore who were at full strength for the first time this season and included Mickey Gilmore who has not apperanced in a Pymore shirt since early September. Gilmore was on the bench and with Simon Bush returing to the team at right back with Robbie Walters left midfield.
Pymore created several chance in the opening period and limited Beaminster to just one shot on goal which produced a world class save from Pymore keeper Charlie Youngs. Matt Tither then sent a crashing header just over as Pymore stepped up the pace in search of the opening goal and were rewarded mid way through the first period when Fred Etherington sent a defence splitting ball through for Timmy Hussey to run onto and slot past the advancing keeper.
Pymore brought on Christian Langdon at the interval for the injured Julian Davies and they increased there lead when a 25yard effort from Robbie Walter was misjudged by the Beaminster keeper who allowed it to slip into the net. Pymore`s back four continued to mop up everything which came at them with Leigh Dowle having an excellent match in the centre of the defence.
Hussey then increased Pymore`s lead with his second after a neat one two with fellow striker Alex Goodrick before the player manager made certain of the points with the goal of the game and possible season with a full length run of the pitch run which ended with him lobbing the advancing keeper to secure all three points and to be the only side this season to complete the double over Beaminster.
