Pymore FC 0 - 1 Charmouth
Charmouth came away from St Marys Playing Field with all 3 points in a very poor dorset derby. With a poor first half where neither side could create much at all, it was Charmouth who created probably the best chance of the 1st period when the right winger cut in and crashed a shot off the Pymore cross bar. Pymore created a few chances but poor finishing and a lack of composure in found of goal meant the first period ended goal less.
Second half was pretty much the same story with Pymore with-standing attack after attack with solid defending from the Pymore back line, now missing Bushy who departed at the break with bad ribs picked up during a friendly the previos weekend. The only goal of the match came with about 15minutes left on the clock when a corner came in and was cleared by th Pymore back line but fell straight to the Charmouth full back who unleshed a low shoot through the bodies and into the bottom corner.
Pymore tried to get back level and had a clear penalty appeal rejected when DIMINUTIVE striker Alex Goodrick had his shirt nearly ripped off his back but the referee never spotted a single thing. It was later revealed by the Charmouth player Steve Pitcher that he was actually trying to swap shirts with Alex before the end.
Pymore: Youngs, Bush (Dowle 45mins), Hansford, Beazer (Walter 75mins), Langton, Stork, Tither, Hedditch, Goodrick, Hussey, Davies
