Pymore FC 10 - 1 Hinton St George

Pymore boss Matt Tither claimed his first victory of the season as Pymore turned on the works and sent Hinton to the cleaners with a world class team performance against a poor Hinton side. Pymore started the match without the midfield two of Mickey Gilmore and Robbie Hedditch but so brought in Paul Watkins to partner Robbie Walters in the centre of the park. Young wipper snapper Will Stork was given a start out on the left wing.

Pymore started the brightest but failed to put away their chances and it was Hinton who opened the scoring on 16 minutes when their first attack of the season caught out the Pymore back four and the Hinton Striker slipped his shot under the body of the on rushing Charlie.

This goal kickstarted Pymore into action and leveled things up 3 minutes later when Timmy Hussey floated over a corner and Bushy met it with a powerful header. Hussey then put Pymore ahead when a clever hoofed through ball from Leigh Hansford was poked past the keeper by a clever Hussey flick. Pymore continued to control the game and Bushy got his second with a carbon copy of his 1st goal. Hansford then hit the foot of the post with the keeper beaten from a thunderbolt shot from nearly 50yards. The half time team talk was more relaxed than the pervious weeks at Misterton.

The second half was all one way traffic with the Pymore back four of Hansford, Tither, Bush and Dowle winning everything in the air and almost left Charlie to a virtual spectator for the second period. Alex Goodrick finally got a the scoresheet by scoring Pymore`s 4th and then Paul Watkins had a point blank header saved on the line before Timmy smashed home his second and Pymore`s 5th. They increased their lead when another thunderbolt shot from Hansford was deflected in off the back of Robbie Walter`s. Timmy got the next two to make it 8-1 before Walter`s got his second when Matty floated in a corner and Robbie got his head to it to get his 2nd and Pymore 9th. Bushy continued to look for his hat trick goal and created several chances for himsef but failed to hit the target especially with one free kick which ended up outside Somerfield`s.

Elliot Beazer was on as a 2nd half sub and wasted two clear cut chances before Timmy banged home his 5th when his shot looped in off the keeper to make it a great first league victory for Pymore and allow them to move off the foot of the table for the first time this season. Tither was pleased with the performacne of his lads and told Sky Sports News "Everyone was up for this match, the team played superb with the defence dominating everything in the air and was good to see the lads talking, playing the easy balls and using the wings for a change. We still need to work on a few things in training like hitting the target abit more but it puts the lads in great spirt before next weeks local derby away at Netherbury".
